Spotlight Feature: Photographer Of Week Airam Dato-on Captures Magic Through His Lens.

by - 10:52:00

Occasionally, we love to celebrate those who bring magic to our phone, TV, and laptop screens through their amazing photographic skills and talents.

People see photos and just think oh it's just about picking up a camera and clicking, No! dearie, it's much more than that- It's about capturing time itself because that moment will never come again. That is why we are able to look at a photo and say wow I remember the year I took this, we can't turn back time but we can appreciate the moment.
We are always grateful to the creative minds that dedicate their time to creating beautiful photographs.
When I look at certain photos, I look for the story, the mood, the feeling, the vibe and I try to resonate with it. Only a few photographers are able to capture my attention this way and Airam's work is one of them.
Who Is Airam Dato-on
I’m Airam, a portrait photographer based in Orlando, Florida. Photoshoots can often be intimidating or awkward, but I am here to help you feel comfortable every step of the way, showcasing your inner confidence and capturing natural moments.
Friends often describe me as their personal cheerleader, and I try to be that for each and every person I work with. My goal in each session is to capture your beauty and to tangibly show you what your friends and family see. I run on curiosity and adventure, making each session with me an experience you will remember.
These series of photos are some of our favorite photos from his work, the beautiful model Anna D’Annunzio made it all look easy but we all know photography is far from easy.
I am reminded of this quote:
Mankind has been creating and appreciating art since its very beginning. Photography is a way of feeling, touching, and of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
– Aaron Siskind
Photography is more than just a skill or talent; it's a passion that needs constant fulfillment.
His work makes us remember our top favorite quotes about photography:
“The negative is the equivalent of the composer’s score and the print the performance.”
– Ansel Adams
“There is one thing the photo must contain – the humanity of the moment.”
– Robert Frank
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
– Ansel Adams
“If you are out there shooting, things will happen for you. If you’re not out there, you’ll only hear about it.”
– Jay Maisel
“Photography is the art of making memories tangible.”
– Destin Sparks
