Harrods recently stated that it would be celebrating the Lunar New Year, and that it would team up with Shanghai's LABELHOOD to do so.

The cultural community wants to support upcoming Chinese designers, and it keeps introducing new businesses to the community of luxury merchants through the Harrods "Hive" incubation programme. LABELHOOD's Family Portrait Studio, which was established in 2020, aims to highlight the customs of the traditional event, which Harrods will stage in the United Kingdom for the first time ever.

Customers of Harrods are invited to shop a curated selection of goods from LABELHOOD and its young Chinese designers on the fifth level of the store, which houses the studio. The immersive environment will also hold photo shoots for those who want to commemorate the Lunar New Year with photos of their families and "selected families."

Harrods is also presenting a special Spring Festival afternoon tea that is inspired by the Year of the Rabbit in addition to the pop-up area. The specially created menu, which was created in collaboration with the retailer's talented chefs, offers a variety of goodies for the joyful occasion.
