The new building, which is situated in Val-d'Oise in the Paris suburbs, is devoted to storing fashion items from several European nations, including France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain. It offers a wide variety of product categories, including jewellery, fashion, cosmetics, and luxury goods, and it has a carefully chosen assortment from more than 100 reputable companies.

According to a news statement, the Asian company's cross-border e-commerce strategy, which aims "to facilitate the entry of more European brands into the Chinese market by providing efficient fulfillment solutions," includes the opening as the most recent development.

"We want to extend our supply chain to the actual locations where brands are located," stated Louis Zhang, JD Worldwide's general manager of luxury and fashion.

"With this strategy, local merchants' fulfilment expenses are significantly reduced while still receiving speedier delivery, more affordable prices, and dependable customer support. This creative strategy aims to open up new doors for more European SMEs and niche brands by giving them a foothold in China's thriving and dynamic fashion industry."

JD Worldwide has also opened a dedicated online shop that is directly connected to the Paris warehouse, coinciding with the inauguration of the warehouse.

By utilising effective local inventory management, the platform guarantees that customers can easily access the newest fashion arrivals and discounts, and that purchases placed on the JD app in China are delivered out promptly for delivery.

Orders are also accepted via the JD Smart Check service, which gives Chinese customers the option to trace and authenticate purchases they make abroad.

With an operating presence covering over 1,600 warehouses, including almost 90 bonded, direct mail, and international warehouses globally, JD.com presently boasts large procurement centres in Europe and other countries.
