Fiorucci FW25: A Whimsical Collision of Nostalgia and Now
Fiorucci’s Fall Winter 2025-2026 collection was a love letter to the past, rewritten for the future. Under Francesca Murri’s creative vision, the show delivered a playful, pop-infused spectacle that honored the brand’s legendary DNA while fearlessly embracing reinvention.
A standout moment came in the form of a plastic H-line dress, encasing Polaroids of everyday snapshots—a wearable time capsule that transformed nostalgia into an avant-garde expression. This surreal, Instagram-era relic embodied Murri’s ongoing exploration of utopia, a world where seasons, realities, and generations blur into a dreamy, boundary-defying escape.
The show unfolded like a visual scrapbook, opening with a montage of life’s milestones against a fantastical holiday backdrop—where snowy peaks met sun-drenched palms. The collection mirrored this playful duality, fusing formal and casual wear with an effortless irreverence. Tailored pinstripe wool and chevron mingled with natural latex, recycled PVC, and Neoprene, creating an unexpected harmony between classic and unconventional. Loud prints and trompe-l'œil illusions clashed brilliantly with understated tailoring, while blazers layered over tracksuit-inspired dresses, printed puffers thrown over swimsuits, and sheer frocks paired with corduroy hoodies encapsulated Fiorucci’s rule-breaking spirit. Cropped knits revealed glimpses of Hawaiian florals beneath, reinforcing the brand’s signature clash of contrasts.
Beyond the clothes, the collection marked a pivotal moment for Fiorucci’s resurgence. Now officially on the Milan Fashion Week calendar, the brand reaffirmed its commitment to accessibility, welcoming 400 fashion students to witness the show firsthand. CEO Alessandro Pisani echoed this mission, announcing a virtual flagship store in Milan’s San Babila—where Fiorucci’s legendary emporium once stood—cementing the house’s digital-forward evolution.
With its vibrant mix of past and present, the collection captured Fiorucci’s infectious energy, proving that its rebellious, joyous spirit remains as electrifying as ever.
