Alemaïs Resort 2026: Echoes in Marrakesh
Alemaïs unveiled its Resort 2026 collection in a breathtaking, transcendent showcase set in Marrakesh—a debut that marked the brand’s most immersive and emotionally resonant moment to date. More than a fashion show, it was a celebration of artistry, collaboration, and cultural dialogue.
In partnership with Moroccan design studio LRNCE, founded by Laurence Leenaert, the presentation became a tactile narrative—woven from hand-crafted installations, sun-warmed textures, and a shared reverence for the poetic nature of process. Marrakesh, with its labyrinthine light and layered heritage, was not simply a setting—it was an active voice in the story, lending the show an atmosphere of quiet reverence and vibrant soul.
Styled by Julia Sarr-Jamois, the collection built on Alemaïs’s ethos of storytelling through fabric and form. Romantic silhouettes moved with breezy assurance through the hand-crafted space—each look a dialogue between heritage and imagination. Faded earth tones, painterly prints, and artisanal detailing whispered of nomadic rituals and time-honored traditions, filtered through a lens of modern femininity. Moroccan and international models added an authentic, grounded energy, their presence further tying the garments to place and purpose.
From the layered linens to intricate embroidery, the garments felt lived-in yet transcendent—evoking the feeling of returning to a place you’ve never been, but somehow know. Post-show, guests were treated to a curated Moroccan feast that felt less like an event and more like a ritual of gratitude, underscoring the brand’s commitment to conscious creation and human connection.
In only its second runway outing, Alemaïs proved that a collection can be more than clothes—it can be a memory made tangible. Resort 2026 didn’t just speak to travel, but to communion. It honored slowness, craft, and culture, crafting a resonant testament to what fashion can become when it listens closely—to the earth, to history, and to heart.
