KNWLS FW25/26: “Baby” — A Cinematic Rebellion in Stillness
For Fall Winter 2025–2026, KNWLS bypasses the runway in favor of quiet impact, unveiling Baby—a campaign that trades spectacle for sculptural precision. Captured by Marc Asekhame, the visuals offer an intimate yet forceful exploration of the label’s evolving identity, foregrounding form, texture, and intent.
Staged within the stark elegance of a late-modernist home, the campaign features Iris Law and Shivaruby Premkanthan, whose smoldering stillness invites viewers into a world of controlled intensity. Their presence—simultaneously soft and steely—reflects KNWLS’ continued fascination with early-2000s femininity, refracted through a lens of craftsmanship and edge.
Exaggerated silhouettes and tactile contrasts dominate the narrative: second-skin tops cling like armor, layered beneath voluminous outerwear that distorts and empowers. Georgia Pendlebury’s styling amplifies the tension between restraint and rebellion, while Isamaya Ffrench’s makeup and Claire Grech’s hair direction underscore the campaign’s hyper-modern sensuality.
Absent of overt concept or cinematic storyline, Baby instead becomes a study in mood—pared back, distilled, and entirely KNWLS. This decision to forgo the traditional show in favor of a tightly honed visual release speaks to a brand operating on its own terms, prioritizing clarity of vision over seasonal theatrics.
In a fashion landscape saturated with noise, Baby is a statement made in whispers—but it lands like a thunderclap. With creative direction by Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault, KNWLS continues to shape the future by honing in on what matters most: identity, intimacy, and aesthetic conviction.
