Alanui Fall Winter 2025–2026 Collection: Threads of Freedom, Stitched by Sky
For Fall Winter 2025–2026, Carlotta Oddi invites us to take flight—not just through landscapes, but through spirit. Inspired by the trailblazing aviator Amelia Earhart, this season’s Alanui collection becomes a sartorial voyage, tracing a path from the lush tropics of the Pacific to the raw deserts of the American Southwest, before ascending into the celestial whimsy of literary skies. And as ever, the brand’s lifeblood—knitwear craftsmanship—is not just present, but soaring.
At the heart of this collection is a sense of nomadic soul-searching. The journey begins in Hawaii, with cardigans like wearable panoramas—hibiscus blooms, rippling waves, and palm-draped seascapes come to life in high-definition jacquard. Here, Alanui's signature coats and silk-wool coordinates read like open letters from the edge of paradise, soaked in sun and serenity.
But soon the wind shifts. The collection veers inland to the rugged terrain of the American Southwest, where Western Americana fuses with frontier grit. Cowboy motifs, galloping steeds, and leather-fringed drama give the collection a dusty romance, tempered by elegance. The beloved “Remember Me” jacket makes a triumphant return—this time in wool with embroidered tropical overlays, a beautiful contradiction that speaks to movement, memory, and reinvention.
From here, Oddi dives into an unexpected realm: grunge urbanity. The coastal drift gives way to city static—brushed striped sweaters, patchwork knits, and lived-in denim scrawled with leopard jacquards echo the rebellious rhythms of 1990s Seattle and Lower Manhattan. Sequined yarns and glimmering monochromes dance across bralettes, cardigans, and crocheted skirts—offering a tactile kind of glamour that feels modern, grounded, and quietly subversive.
In true Alanui fashion, craftsmanship remains sacred. The cream-toned knits—built from complex patchwork techniques—are tactile hymns to the artisan's hand. Soft in hue but bold in structure, they reaffirm Alanui’s position at the intersection of textile mastery and modern luxury.
And just when you think the narrative is complete, Oddi takes one final detour—into the cosmic tenderness of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince**. A whimsical capsule brings the beloved character to life across frayed cardigans and crewnecks banded in poetic bandana prints, infusing the line with a childlike wonder and an ode to inner worlds.
Yet, behind the creativity is a bold new era of independence. Following a buyback of shares from New Guards Group, Alanui is once again fully owned by Carlotta and Nicolò Oddi. The return to autonomy has already paid off, with a 15% sales rise season-over-season—proof that authenticity, when held close, resonates deeply.
Looking to Spring 2026, Alanui is consolidating its men’s and women’s collections under one Milan showroom, signaling a leaner, more cohesive strategy as it enters its next chapter.
But for now, Fall Winter 2025–2026 feels like a quiet triumph. It’s a meditation on movement—not just physical, but emotional. A reminder that in a world obsessed with speed, there is power in traveling slow, dressing meaningfully, and honoring the threads that connect us to story, to history, and to self.
