Hannah Shin SS26 Collection: When Craft Meets Code
Hannah Shin’s Spring–Summer 2026 collection at Seoul Fashion Week unfolded as a serene yet groundbreaking study of fashion’s future. True to the house’s language of poetic futurism, the collection balanced meticulous craft with technological precision, revealing garments that felt both artisanal and engineered.
Sinuous, body-mapped outerwear and sculptural separates defined the silhouettes, where molded leathers and 3D-printed accents intertwined with delicate hand embroidery. Subtle AI-driven actuators were embedded into select garments, lending fabrics a quiet, intentional movement – folding, breathing, and flowing as though alive.
The runway itself reflected the collection’s collaborative DNA. Wearable robotics by Angel Robotics animated chosen looks, structural details from THETA TECH enhanced depth, and dramatic lighting by BC Lighting sculpted shadow and texture. Guidance from KAIST Professor Kong Gyeongcheol ensured a seamless integration of mechanics and material, elevating the designs beyond novelty into a calm, precise dialogue between tradition and innovation.
With this presentation, Hannah Shin demonstrated how technology can become not an intrusion but a partner to craft creating fashion that breathes, transforms, and embodies the quiet drama of the future.
