Under the visionary direction of Thai designer Roj Bhubawit Kritpholnara, traditional Thai weaves were transformed into contemporary armour, channeling the spirit of a modern-day deva while honoring generations of cultural mastery. Woven basketry, sacred motifs, and Buddhist amulets were reimagined through bold silhouettes, proving that Thai craftsmanship is not frozen in heritage but alive, evolving, and globally resonant.

The runway became a celebration of Thai soft power, led by a striking cast that bridged cinema, culture, and fashion. Actor Gee Suthirak, known for the haunting hit My Boo, embodied the cinematic soul of modern Thainess, while Keng Harit and Namping Napatsakorn of Khemjira the Series walked in tribute to ISSUE Thailand’s 26th anniversary. The moment was further elevated by the appearance of legendary Thai actress Apasiri Nitipon, reinforcing the collection’s cultural gravity.

Staged at Siam Paragon, ISSUE Thailand’s A/W 2025 show was more than a fashion presentation; it was a declaration: Thai weaving is not merely a heritage craft but a future-facing textile language ready for the global stage.
