TAE ASHIDA unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, presenting a poetic showcase of 51 meticulously crafted looks for both women and men. Titled “Whispers of Light”, the collection explores softness, clarity, and modern elegance through a refined urban lens.

The runway was graced by an esteemed cast of models, including Kiko (Takako Inagaki), Miki Ehara, Rina Fukushi, and others who embodied the collection’s quiet strength and understated beauty. Each look unfolded with a sense of fluidity, reflecting a dialogue between light and form, movement and restraint.

For the men’s collection, Akitsugu Tominaga (Akinaga Akitane), eldest son of legendary supermodel Ai Tominaga, returned to the TAE ASHIDA runway following his debut last season. Appearing in two striking looks, his presence added a contemporary edge and generational continuity to the collection.

True to the house’s philosophy, TAE ASHIDA SS2026 seamlessly blends everyday elegance with functionality, infusing modern silhouettes with an urban sensibility. 

The result is a collection that feels both wearable and aspirational, where sophistication whispers rather than shouts, and modernity is expressed through thoughtful design.
