With Beauty & the Bag 2026, Gucci refines one of its most enduring codes, positioning the handbag not as a secondary accent but as a defining element of personal identity. Under the creative direction of Demna, the campaign reframes the bag as an object shaped through ritual and repetition, an intimate extension of the wearer, evolving through use rather than seasonal reinvention.
Captured through the lens of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the imagery is rendered in a sleek, high-gloss visual language where precision and presence take precedence. Kate Moss and Emily Ratajkowski anchor the narrative, each embodying a distinct sartorial rhythm. Moss channels a sense of continuity rooted in 1990s minimalism, while Ratajkowski introduces a sharper, contemporary immediacy.
At the core of the campaign are two silhouettes, the Borsetto and the Giglio, treated not as accessories but as protagonists. The Borsetto, seen on Moss, is distilled into compact precision across GG canvas, suede, and leather, while the Giglio, carried by Ratajkowski, expands the dialogue through deeper tones and monogram variations.
