Within the hushed, chapel-like interior of Yodobashi Church, Viviano presented its Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection during Tokyo Fashion Week as a study in measured opulence. The setting underscored the collection’s central tension: a dialogue between decorative abundance and architectural restraint, where every flourish was carefully calibrated.

At first glance, the collection embraced visual richness, layers of tulle, lace, and shimmer accumulating into intricate compositions. Yet beneath this surface lay a disciplined construction logic. Layering operated with precision: fitted skirts edged in lace were paired with sheer, pannier-like structures, while dresses composed of irregular tulle panels unfolded in controlled drapes. Transparency and tone were orchestrated to guide the eye, creating rhythm rather than excess.

Asymmetry emerged as a defining gesture. Rather than dramatic distortion, Viviano introduced subtle imbalances, gathers placed along a single side, hems that shifted almost imperceptibly, and drapes that created quiet tension.
