Nehera SS27 Collection: Quiet Escapism, Refined Through Modern Menswear
Nehera's Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection transforms personal history into a quietly compelling study of contemporary dressing. Co-founder Ladislav Zdút looks back to childhood summers spent at Hungary’s Lake Balaton, a cherished retreat that offered a sense of freedom during the restrictive years of Communist-era Slovakia. Often referred to as the "Lake of Swans", the destination became a symbolic substitute for distant coastlines, inspiring a collection infused with nostalgia, ease, and understated optimism.
That spirit of escape is expressed through relaxed silhouettes and an emphasis on tactile luxury. Soft, fluid tailoring replaces rigid structure, while premium wool-silk blends lend effortless movement to roomy trousers and lightweight bomber jackets. Breathable lace co-ords introduce an unexpected softness, reinforcing the collection’s commitment to comfort without compromising Nehera’s signature minimalist refinement.
The season continues to explore relaxed construction through a cropped one-button jacket with rounded, unstructured sleeves, while a floral jacquard ensemble references elevated loungewear with an elegant, pajama-inspired sensibility. The colour palette reflects the natural landscape surrounding Lake Balaton, moving through earthy neutrals before arriving at a richly textured paprika-red cotton bouclé look, a subtle tribute to the vintage inflatable mattresses that once dotted the lakeside during Zdút’s childhood summers.
Rather than relying on overt statements, Nehera presents a wardrobe defined by restraint, craftsmanship, and emotional resonance. With refined fabrics, fluid proportions, and a calm confidence, the Spring Summer 2027 collection captures the luxury of slowing down, proving that modern menswear can be at its most compelling when it speaks softly.
