Longchamp FW26-27 Collection: Be Creative, Where Paris Becomes the Atelier
Longchamp's Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection, titled 'Be Creative', brings the Longchamp woman back to Paris, transforming the city from a mere backdrop into a living source of inspiration. Imagined within the intimate setting of a Parisian apartment, the collection explores the meeting point between design, architecture, craftsmanship, and contemporary art, capturing the idea that even the most familiar surroundings can become extraordinary when viewed through a creative lens.
Architectural references are translated into fashion with remarkable fluidity. The sculptural curves associated with Verner Panton and Charlotte Perriand inform the collection’s clean yet expressive forms, while Thomas Heatherwick’s distinctive green staircase at La Maison Unique inspires a rippling graphic motif that travels across coats, skirts, and the Le Pliage travel bag. The result is a subtle dialogue between structure and movement, where architecture becomes an elegant design language.
Artist Caroline Hélain further enriches the narrative through abstract textile landscapes assembled from fragments of colour and material. Her work mirrors Longchamp’s appreciation for craftsmanship, reinforcing the notion that memory, texture, and everyday objects can become sources of artistic expression. This sensibility is reflected in fluid, generous silhouettes and monochromatic looks built through rich surfaces, including patent, croc-embossed leather, suede, and nubuck.
The palette moves through warm shades of vanilla, caramel, mocha, coffee, and burgundy, punctuated by vivid matcha, azure, silver, and orange, alongside an expressive leopard motif. Standout pieces include the Heatherwick-inspired architectural coat, the Daylong bag transformed into a canvas for Hélain’s compositions, the glossy patent Le Pliage Xtra with its sculptural handle, and the Le Roseau interpreted in velvety nubuck and silver mirror leather.
Completed by the elongated Élan high boots, the collection expresses Longchamp’s savoir-faire as a form of creative freedom. Be Creative presents Paris not as a postcard, but as an ever-evolving atelier where architecture, art, and everyday life become material for modern luxury.
