HOLYNUMBER7 SS27: “WAY MAKER” Opens Seoul Fashion Week with a New Direction
HOLYNUMBER7 opened day one of Seoul Fashion Week 2027 S/S on 1 September with its new collection, “WAY MAKER", bringing together structured silhouettes, fluid layering, and the energy of contemporary Korean streetwear.
Led by designers Choi Kyung-ho and Song Hyun-hee, the collection focuses on people who choose to create their own path rather than follow one that has already been set. Presented at DDP Art Hall 1, WAY MAKER explores individuality, confidence, and the idea of moving forward on your own terms.
The collection combines linear structures with softer, more fluid silhouettes, creating a contrast between strength and movement. Black and white form much of the visual foundation, while layered styling, relaxed proportions, and streetwear elements give the looks a distinctly contemporary feel.
Sustainability also remains part of the conversation, with HOLYNUMBER7 continuing its interest in resource circulation and giving new life to discarded materials.
The runway brought together models of different ages and backgrounds, reinforcing the collection's message of fashion without fixed boundaries.
The result is a collection that feels confident, youthful, and distinctly rooted in the Seoul streetwear scene, while still pushing the label's silhouettes in a more directional way.
