Brock SS27 Collection: A New Expression of Romantic Ease
With its 19-look Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Brock marks a fresh chapter for American designer Kris Brock, returning to the seasonal fashion landscape under a more streamlined name following the closure of Brock Collection in 2021. After stepping away from the demands of the fashion calendar and later collaborating with V. Chapman, Brock re-emerges with a vision that feels more playful, accessible, and intimately connected to his signature romantic sensibility. Following the quiet introduction of a resort collection this summer, the new lineup represents the label’s first full collection.
Romance unfolds through airy, lingerie-inspired silhouettes, cascading ruffles, and generous lace, softened by floral prints reminiscent of faded vintage wallpaper. Dramatic puffball skirts bring a more sculptural dimension, their abbreviated fronts and elongated backs creating a sense of movement and theatrical volume. Rendered in crisp poplin or stretch jacquard, these pieces balance delicacy with a confident, contemporary attitude.
Versatility is woven into the construction. Adjustable ties offer multiple styling possibilities, while dresses featuring internal corsetry preserve their sculpted shape even when straps fall off the shoulder. A lace mini-cape top similarly adapts to different ways of wearing, reinforcing the collection’s relaxed approach to dressing. Pastel workwear jackets and tailored ecru jeans introduce a grounded counterpoint, connecting the softer, more feminine pieces to Brock’s Texan roots.
The collection signals a more approachable direction from the designer, retaining the allure of romantic dressing while embracing a lighter, less formal spirit. With dresses averaging around $725, Brock also positions the label at a more accessible price point than its predecessor. Set to launch in November through Moda Operandi and the brand’s direct-to-consumer channel, Spring/Summer 2027 introduces a renewed design identity built around versatility, modern femininity, and romance without excess.
