Eudon Choi’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection explores the enduring beauty of things transformed by time. Inspired by a recent journey through Athens and Milos, the designer looked to weathered sculptures, ancient architecture, and surfaces shaped by wind, salt, and sunlight, finding beauty not in perfection but in erosion, softness, and the traces left behind by time.

That sense of history is translated into a distinctly contemporary wardrobe. Classical references are stripped of their expected theatricality, replacing traditional goddess-like draping with sharper, more functional forms. An opening asymmetric white dress, gathered as though carved from marble, establishes the collection’s sculptural character. Throughout, draping is carefully engineered through drawstrings, shifted buttons, ruching, and adjustable constructions, allowing fabric to contour the body while retaining practicality.

Madame Grès provides an important reference, particularly in a series of elongated, tiered silhouettes reinterpreted through Choi’s contemporary vocabulary. Striped shirts transform into draped midi skirts, while long dresses unfold in layered combinations of black, white, blue, and tobacco. A sleeveless striped dress follows the body before dissolving into a dark satin hem, creating an intriguing meeting point between archaeological influence and modern utility.

Tailoring provides a grounded counterbalance to the collection’s fluidity. Jackets are softened through reduced internal structure, unlined sleeves, and lighter construction, while cropped trousers, cargo silhouettes, bombers, and trench coats reinforce the wardrobe’s practicality. A pale trench with layered lapels and a navy pinstripe suit paired with sleek culottes offers a precise urban counterpoint to the more romantic designs.

The palette evokes marble and sun-scorched earth through ivory and espresso, punctuated by vivid lemon yellow and sea blue. With Spring/Summer 2027, Eudon Choi transforms the marks of time into a language of modern elegance, creating clothing that feels thoughtfully worn-in, sculptural yet functional, and quietly timeless.
