Jenny Packham’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection marks the next chapter of her Disco Couture story, moving beyond the drama of the entrance to explore the freedom that follows when the woman in the gown begins to dance. Building on the more body-conscious direction introduced for Resort 2027, Packham turns towards a freer, more kinetic vision of glamour, inspired by Lauren Hutton, Lynda Carter, Debbie Harry, and Farrah Fawcett.

Movement is at the heart of the 20-look collection. Pleats open and close around the body, fringe shimmers with every step, and fluid silhouettes are designed to respond beautifully to motion. A metallic pleated gown creates fan-like volume, while a champagne slip skims the figure beneath an intricately embellished neckline. Familiar column dresses appear in black, midnight blue, blush, and silver, illuminated by Packham’s signature crystals, sequins, and intricate beadwork. A sharply cut spaghetti-strap mini dress and sleek jumpsuit introduce a more youthful edge.

For Packham, construction is as important as ornamentation. Every garment is designed to maintain a confident silhouette while allowing the fabric to move naturally, ensuring that each look performs equally well on the red carpet, in photographs, and on the dance floor. Colour traces the progression of an imagined night, beginning with peach pinks and champagne gold, deepening into midnight blue and black before arriving at glacier silver, evoking the first light of morning. Swarovski crystals and elaborate embellishment heighten the effect.
