First off tell us how you were “discovered” and how your modeling career all started?
It’s actually one of those cliché New York stories- I was “discovered” when I was working in Manhattan.  I was trying to break into the modeling business and had been asked to walk and model underwear on the streets of NYC for a magazine.  I jumped at the opportunity to build my experience. I was supposed to hand out magazines to people passing by, eventually, two business-type men approached me and engaged me in conversation.  I was surprised at first but then quickly realized that these guys were the “J” and the “B” of JBTalent Management.
Do you have any upcoming projects?
I’m so excited about my first acting gig on the hit-new series HOSTAGES.  We haven’t filmed yet but I’m sure I’ll give everyone the lowdown on what happened on my Facebook  I’m new to this whole world but that has given me an appreciation and excitement for everything that comes my way.  Hey, ya got to start somewhere!
What do you enjoy most about being a model and who are some of your influences in the modeling and Entertainment industry?
The best thing is- Working as a model helps keep me on point when it comes to my health and fitness.  I look at it as part of my job- my work. Having that consistency and strict diet has really just helped me live better.  I’m inspired by a lot of people, especially the photographers I’ve been working with lately.  Michael Billy and Jarl from JBTalent also inspire me in this business because the company stands for so much more than just getting a talent a gig- the company is very socially active and engages talent to give back to the community.

What advice & tips would you give to young aspiring models and Makeup Artists?
My advice is to keep going strong.  It’s a tough business where people’s careers are molded by a few “yes’s” and a whole lot of “no.”
How would you describe your personal style, where do you pull your inspiration from?
I steal from everyone! Style is something where I take a little from a lot of people.  There are so many extreme personalities in New York that are very expressive with their clothing.  I’m pretty good at dressing for the right occasion whether it is hanging out and watching a movie in gym shorts or putting a Mad Men look together for an after-work party.
What are your philosophy in life and fashion mantra?
Trust how you feel and let your fashion be a helpful tool in building your confidence as a person- Sexy is confident.
What are your top Health and Fitness tips?
Water, water, water.  Incorporate movement and fitness throughout your day.  When you get home from a long day and your about to crash a little too early- push yourself to go for that jog.

What has been your favorite shoot to date?
I love every photo session, every audition, every open casting, and every meeting at JBTalent.  I’m still new to all this and really am taking everything all in.
Sometimes the modeling industry gets a bad rap for the jealousy and egos encountered between other models and agencies.
Was this true for you? Have you managed to tough it out and make good friends?
I stay out of the drama.  That’s something that has always turned me off about the business.  The most I find are people who want the glam of the job- parties, cocktails, and drama but don’t really want to do the work.  And sometimes, most of the time, the hard work can be boring.  Working out, researching the market, tweeting and posting, and understanding what your brand is.
