OpéraSPORT Spring/Summer 2026 Colletion: Harmony in Bloom
At Copenhagen Fashion Week, OpéraSPORT’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection unfolded as a serene study in balance—where softness met structure, and heritage intertwined with modernity. Staged at the tranquil Frederiksberg Badene, the presentation reflected co-founders Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter’s recent journey to Seoul, translating the city’s quiet traditions and vibrant pace into a cohesive sartorial language.
A whisper-soft palette—sage, butter yellow, powder blue, blush, and the house’s signature pastel green—washed over the runway, evoking the muted elegance of Seoul’s urban landscapes. The hibiscus, Korea’s national flower, bloomed in delicate embroidery and three-dimensional detailing across sculptural dresses, sheer lace florals, and sharply tailored separates. A vegan leather jacket and statement trench anchored the collection, embodying its interplay of strength and delicacy.
Subtle nods to traditional hanbok silhouettes were distilled into clean, wearable forms, offering cultural resonance without costume. Seamless lace pieces and airy layering conveyed an ease that felt both intimate and refined. The venue itself—a serene public swimming space—mirrored the collection’s origin story, born from a quiet moment overlooking a Seoul pool.
With inclusive casting, fluid hair by Hanna Ramirez, and dewy, floral-toned makeup by Miild, the show became a meditation on understated beauty. In a season crowded with maximalism, OpéraSPORT chose restraint—crafting a collection that blooms in harmony with both heritage and the present.
