SAN SAN GEAR x YUMINHA Bring Gacha Culture to Life in Seoul
Seoul meets New York's Chinatown in the latest collaboration between Korean streetwear label SAN SAN GEAR and artist-driven platform YUMINHA.
Titled “Gacha Series,” the collaboration draws on the randomness, diversity, and subcultural energy of Gacha culture, bringing together SAN SAN GEAR's technical approach to design with YUMINHA's distinctive artist curation.
The collection features the work of five artists—Alvin, Dripkast, Kae, Kyu, and Oliw—whose individual illustrations have been reinterpreted across the collaboration.
One of the most interesting elements is the move from 2D graphics into 3D form. Rather than keeping the artists' work exclusively on traditional printed surfaces, their illustrations have been transformed into physical figurines, giving the collection a playful and tangible new dimension.
The result is a collaboration that sits comfortably between streetwear, art, and collectible culture, while reflecting the unexpected combinations and creative communities that continue to shape Seoul's fashion scene.
