SODUK 2027 S/S “LOVE”: Everyday Intimacy Takes Centre Stage at Tokyo Fashion Week
Spotted in Tokyo, SODUK (@soduk_official) presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, “LOVE,” as the closing presentation of Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO.
Designed by Okinawa-born designer Tsukasa Kudo (@tsukasamkudo), the collection centres on the comfort of everyday intimacy and the idea of creating something meaningful from what is already around us. Kudo likens the process to “making dinner out of whatever happens to be left in the refrigerator," a simple idea that becomes the starting point for a collection about care, sustainability, and responsibility.
Presented at Shibuya PARCO, the show placed the models within a room-like environment where they moved through ordinary moments, changing clothes, looking around, and sharing the space. It made the presentation feel less like a traditional runway and more like a glimpse into everyday life.
The clothing follows the same philosophy. Upcycled pieces, indigo-dyed garments, hand-worked denim, and colourful charm details come together with relaxed everyday silhouettes. The collection also introduced a casual collaboration with Okinawa's Orion Beer, bringing another element of Kudo's hometown into the presentation.
The result is a collection that feels personal without being overly complicated, clothes shaped by memory, familiarity, and the things already present in everyday life.
The presentation closed with a live performance by singer-songwriter Kaneko Ayano, whose “Sabishikunai” accompanied the final walk and added another quiet emotional layer to the show.
