Yueqi Qi’s Fall Winter 2025-2026 collection, unveiled at Tokyo’s Yodobashi Church, was a bold meditation on identity, self-expression, and transformation. Blurring the lines between chaos and refinement, the designer explored the duality of who we are in solitude versus who we become in the gaze of the world. Inspired by the untamed spirit of Catwoman, Qi sculpted a vision of rebellious femininity, merging unruly energy with meticulous craftsmanship.

The "Machines of Loving Grace collection" is YUEQI QI’s Ride of the Valkyries. A group of reluctant heroines band together to fight back against the digital Moloch. It is a journey back to nature, lit with smartphones. It’s becoming more difficult to parse what is real and what is augmented, and our heroines have had enough. They want the real thing. With steady hands, flowers are dissected, pinned down, and rebuilt with human-made materials.
