Tell Us More about yourself, and what was life-like growing up?
I am an only child and was raised by my grandfather. I am of mixed ethnic heritage, my mother is from Thailand and my father is British. I grew up in Lancashire and now live in Cheshire. I am divorced and very proud mummy of my 9-year-old son Jake.
OPIUM HAIR & BEAUTY” Tell us how it all began.
I went through training and left school as a hairdresser; I have always had a fascination in the realms of hair and beauty. So it seemed like a natural progression one day to open my own business in that field.
What advice would you give to aspiring business Owners and Entrepreneurs?
Having your own business is very much like having a new-born baby. Your business needs you round o’clock attention in order for it to glow and blossom.
A good realistic business plan is the key and foundation to any successful business.
Research and get a strong knowledge in the field you choose to open your business in (this is a must).

What motivational advice would you give to those trying to find their Niche in the Fashion, Hair and Beauty Industry today?
We all have our own passions in life. But it’s not always the key to making your business a total success. If you become too heavily involved with emotional decisions you fail to make logical ones. Hence all growth for your business will be stunted and could ultimately end up costing you and your business dearly.
What are some of the biggest hurdles you have been faced with as an Entrepreneur and how did you overcome them?
Having any type of business you come up against daily problems. In my business it all revolves around conducting an exceptional service. So finding good staff and maintaining a loyalty with my clients to ensure they are happy with the services we provide is paramount.
Having a business is balance; we all at some point make the wrong decisions at times. It’s about being observant and learning from these situations. You ultimately are the eyes and ears of your business so you have to be there. You only get out what you put in.
What are some of your latest and upcoming projects?
I am very proud to be launching my very own range of shampoo’s and hair conditioning range.
“Ampika’s Lox”.
It has a story of a vision I had as a child. To bring an original twist into my concept .Ampika’s Lox is a unique blend of herbal and plant extracts from Thailand which has been infused into each and every shampoo and hair conditioner throughout my range.
I have a range of FIVE shampoos and conditioners. All with natural extracts from the east to enrich your scalp and hair.

Who or what inspires and motivates you daily?
Your own mind motivates you and others. I attend Buddhist and Spiritual classes each week which keeps me grounded, centered and energized.
Tell us more about your partnership with “AS Building Solutions” and what they are about?
AS Building solutions is a new business which carries out any type of domestic and commercial refit. I have a business partner who runs the business; I act more as a silent partner.
I have to say I love watching you on the Latest Episode of RHOC I’d have to say you are one of my top favorites ,tell us what it is about your personality that sets you aside from the rest of the crew?
I am the only single lady on the real housewives of Cheshire. From my name, dress sense, and quirky ways I am very different to the other ladies.
I don’t seek refuge in others; I am independent in my thoughts. I am independent in the way I live my life. And I certainly don’t mince my words.

If you could change anything about the Beauty and Fashion industry today, what would it be?
The beauty and fashion industry is a multi-billion pound empire, it sells a dream, it creates a frenzy. If I could change anything it would be from the angle in which we observe and value ourselves mentally. The industry creates an illusion of beauty and success. People are drawn to that belief yet missing the vital picture. BEAUTY and SUCCESS lie within.
NO brand or advertisement will ever enrich your life. It’s the belief in yourself.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I love my doggy Bella, my only sticking point with her is that she tries each night to
push me out of my place in bed….
lol! aw so cute :- So what is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
I can’t beat spending time with my son and good friends. I like making people happy and creating a lovely dinner party where the children run wild and the adults can kick off their shoes and relax
