Elegance is the simplest form of being good at heart. Someone who is elegant has a certain persona and is usually someone who behaves well no matter what is tossed at them. Elegance can be considered beauty, charm, and intelligence all in one word.
The newest campaign for 2024 masterfully captures the charm of Chanel's Coco Crush line, shining a bright light on the contemporary elegance that the brand epitomises. As the renowned French luxury brand debuted their much awaited Cruise 2024 collection inside the legendary Paramount Studios, the spirit of Coco Chanel returned to Hollywood. In the middle of the Writers Guild strike, Chanel gathered a star-studded crowd and produced an Instagrammable event that brilliantly encapsulated both Hollywood glitz and the brand's distinctive style. Virginie Viard, the collection's designer, used a modern touch drawn from the fitness and sports industries while paying respect to the Golden Age of cinema.

For Coco Beach 2026, Chanel reimagines seaside dressing through a lens of restraint, precision, and understated sensuality. Arriving in the quiet wake of the house’s cruise presentation in Biarritz, the campaign reflects a more composed vision of escape, one where leisure is carefully constructed rather than effortlessly spontaneous. Under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy, the beach becomes less a backdrop and more a studied environment of balance, proportion, and mood.

Chanel debuted her Métiers d'Art 2024/25 collection in Manchester in December of last year. The collection featured a lot of tweed, a material that has been associated with the company ever since its founder, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, showed the renowned tweed suit in 1925. Virginie Viard, the design director of this collection, carried on the tradition by highlighting the adaptability and timeless appeal of tweed.

Tweed was worn in a range of ways this season, with different colors, cuts, and patterns. The Manchester presentation was inspired by the pop culture and musical inventiveness of the 1960s, which resulted in a colorful and lively collection that emphasized the fabric's relevance and versatility.

For Fall/Winter 2025–2026, Chanel turned away from the grandiosity of spectacle and leaned into intimacy, transforming an upper floor of the Grand Palais into a whispering homage to the house’s iconic salons at 31 Rue Cambon. Here, in a cocoon of mirrored walls, plush beige banquettes, and quilted cushions, the stage was set not for theatrics—but for exclusivity. It was a deliberate return to the maison’s roots, where haute couture is less about performance and more about reverence.

CHANEL unveiled its newest Métiers d'Art collection for Pre-Fall 2023, with top models Rianne van Rompaey and Amar Akway serving as the faces of the advertising campaign. The campaign, which was styled by Ib Kamara and included casting direction by Aurelie Duclos, was captured by renowned fashion photographer Mikael Jansson.

The 1970s pop-soul-funk-disco-punk movement served as inspiration for the collection, which was displayed in a fashion event at Dakar's historic Palais de Justice in Senegal. The collection honoured the skillfulness of the fashion industry.

According to CHANEL designer Virginie Viard, the 1970s were recognised for their "fascinating freedom" and the collection has a number of flared tweed trouser suits, layered wrap skirts worn over trousers, and geometrically patterned beaded vests that capture this attitude. Additionally, this range includes captivating leopard and camellia patterns on colourful knitwear.

The collection makes sure to acknowledge its African roots, including a range of denim and workwear with an African-inspired aesthetic and a gold pendant shaped like the continent of Africa.

As menswear forms and tailoring find a place in the collection, the Sapeur subculture of the Congo is also represented. The lion pattern, which appears on jewellery and handbags in the collection, pays homage to Coco Chanel's renowned symbol while also serving as a symbol of Senegal. This collection's meticulous attention to detail upholds CHANEL's reputation for handmade craftsmanship.

Beneath a canopy of planetary light and a suspended solar system, one of Paris Fashion Week’s most anticipated moments unfolded with quiet grandeur. As only the fourth creative to helm the maison in its 115-year history, Blazy inherited a galaxy of expectation, and yet, from the first look, it was evident he carried that weight not as a burden but as grace.
